Offices, retail and showrooms, with VAT done right

Commercial leases need VAT, tax invoices and company tenants. RentsPilot adds 5% VAT to commercial rent, issues tax invoices with your TRN and keeps the trade licence on file.

Real screens from RentsPilot

  • 5% VAT on commercial rent

Applied by unit type, so a shop in a residential tower is still taxed correctly.

  • Tax invoices

Invoices carry your TRN and the tenant's, ready for the FTA.

  • Company tenants

Trade licence, signatory and contacts on the tenant record.

No. Residential rent is exempt; VAT applies to commercial units.

Can a lease have more than one unit?

A lease is for one unit. Leasing several units to one company creates one lease per unit under the same tenant.

Can I register my TRN?

Yes, in Company profile. It prints on every tax invoice.
